OPENING TIMES 2010
Guided tours only at 2pm,3pm and 4pm, from Easter Saturday 3rd April until Wednesday 29th September on Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays. The duration of the tour is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes. PLEASE NOTE THAT OCCASIONALLY THE HOUSE IS CLOSED ON NORMAL PUBLIC TOUR DAYS, DUE TO OTHER EVENTS TAKING PLACE. PLEASE CHECK THE WEBSITE BEFORE COMING, PARTICULARLY IF YOU ARE MAKING A LONG JOURNEY. |

ACCESS: Southside is an old house, with some narrow passageways, steps and changes of level, and is not suitable for disabled access.

For further access information please email us or call 020 8946 7643 How to find us Southside House is on the south corner of Wimbledon Common in Woodhayes Road, next to Kings College School, and opposite a small green with two pubs - the Crooked Billet and the Hand in Hand. The nearest railway station is Wimbledon. From Wimbledon Station, take the 93 bus to the Rose and Crown pub in Wimbledon Village. It is a 10 minute walk from here along the Common to Woodhayes Road. Parking: there is no special parking at Southside House, and although Woodhayes Road has no restrictions, it is often difficult to find a parking space nearby. There is ticketed parking on the south side of the common. |
