SOUTHSIDE HOUSE OPENING TIMES 2008
The house will open on Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday afternoons from Saturday 22 March to Sunday 28th September. Tours which last an hour are available at 2.00pm, 3.00pm & 4.00pm. There is no pre-booking system.
 
Please note that the house is closed for the Wimbledon Tennis Fortnight from Monday 23rd June to Monday 7th July inclusive.
 
National Gardens Open Days are on Sunday 27th April and Sunday 11th May from 10.00am to 5.00pm.
 .

Tours are at 2.00pm, 3.00pm, and 4.00pm, each lasting an hour unless a private event is booked, in which case the house will be closed. Please arrive approximately 10 minutes before the chosen tour.  There is no pre-booking of house tours.

Location
Southside House stands on the south corner of Wimbledon Common. in Woodhayes Road, besides Kings College School, and opposite a small green with two pubs - the Crooked Billet, and the Hand in Hand.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT. The nearest railway station is Wimbledon. From Wimbledon Station, take the 93 bus to the Rose and Crown public house in Wimbledon Village, near the War Memorial. It is a six minute walk from here along the Common to Woodhayes Road. For more detailed information about public transport, please contact London Transport.
